Acid Rain 02:49
[Optimystic] [Wolphe] My flag is at half mass, guess he got the last laugh Flashbacks got me running circles like a mad man Imagine that, immortal universally Keep my soul in a jar and throw my bones in the trash can Too soon to cash out, too late to go back now Who knew all you had to give was music in the background If i wanted to stop i would just ask how Till then ill let me brain rot until i pass out Passed on, making rounds like the peace pipe Getting high just to get over my fear of heights Near death experience, out of body, out of mind I can see the devil as he's peering in Tears in his eyes he quivers when we shake hands Cold skin, sad from living in this wasteland I kiss him on the lips and leave an apology And i can see him crack a smile as i walk away Im keeping it ice cold, cool inside my white skull Pupils popping bigger and blacker than Mike Tyson Turn the mic off, i don't want to hear myself This new perspective leaves me more afraid than fear itself Two raindrops painted on my cheek bones Ill just be here waiting for another child to leave home Murder, Red rum in my tummy Too soon yet soon to be late Tapping on the window, come in through the back door Don't you get upset, he's just giving you what you asked for I can see her naked dancing in the waterfalls It makes me wanna stay awake but i keep nodding off Only god can turn the sun into his daughter So her sisters all come follow their father into an atomic bomb But all in all i guess sometimes that you just gotta fall Just so you can be remembered when they call it off [Optimystic]

about

This song was recorded many years ago, at the first Lifted Mindz house on Aldrich Avenue in Minneapolis. It involved lots of drugs and deep conversations. The file was lost about a year ago and we were left with a demo, and finally we decided to put it out as the song, as it perfectly describes the Divine Fools energy and message. Enjoy
